I’m a creator of all kinds of digital media. I’ve designed it, studied it, taught it, tinkered and toiled in it and after 15 years, what has emerged is a deep understanding of how to communicate with it…and a whole arsenal of talents and techniques. The potential to use digital media to create new connections between people, between environments and between ideas is immense.

My passion is in producing active media that inspires people to make a personal connection with the message, rather than passively consuming it. I believe in using emerging technology to facilitate an expanding of our understanding of the world and ourselves. Instead of replacing physical experiences with virtual ones, I endeavor to create solutions that support our daily lives, connecting us to information, collaboration, and expression.

My work on innovative educational games and training applications has given me the opportunity to leverage my knowledge of communication and messaging strategies with my extensive experience in production tools and delivery platforms, and it’s personally gratifying as well. Working within a small team of creative thinkers as part of the new-media agency, BrandGames in NYC, we developed a variety of interactive programs to effectively answer the needs of our Fortune500 clients. We designed interactive programs to build confidence in parents who have to administer medication injections to their children, simulations that teach critical security practices to IT specialists at banks, games that tackle difficult subjects; from ethics and diversity within organizations to the realities of insuring one’s family against potentially unwelcome life circumstances.

Blending unbounded imagination and a distinctly unique creative sensibility with the latest digital tools is my inspiration. Success is producing memorable experiences that connect individuals to empowering ideas. My personal vision is to further extend this interactive model into education, training, social and environmental causes, and health and wellness.
